Every employer wants to add staff that will integrate and work well in their already existing team without dramatically shifting group dynamics. Even if you are a leader in most circumstances, you will need to be able to see the difference between times to lead and times to follow. The optimal candidate will be able to seek out the niche that they can fill socially within the team and mesh seamlessly.

    • Solve problems

A company wants to find people that will come up with creative problems that they may encounter during their job duties. They do not want you to bring the issue to your supervisor when you do not already have a solution or plan ready to be implemented with the input of your supervisor. This also takes some initiative on your part to work independent of your boss’s micromanaging.

    • Knowledge of your job or research ability

You should go into a job interview armed with every piece of information that you can possibly get your hands on about your potential position, the company, and business as a whole. If you don’t already have industry knowledge, then it’s time to jump on your computer and blow them away with your research skills. Your boss wants you to be organised in every aspect of your duties. You should be able to keep all of your activities ordered in a logical manner that will ensure that you complete everything on time. You have to be able to show that you can keep all the details of your job from slipping through the cracks.
